Boost LLC ("Boost," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through chewboost.com (the "Site") and our checkout, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Shipping and billing address
  • Payment details (processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see or store your full card number)
  • Account login information
  • Subscription details (flavor, pack size, delivery frequency, and billing dates)
  • Messages you send our support team
  • Your phone number when you verify it for a trial offer (used to confirm you are eligible for a one-time offer)

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
  • Referring website or ad campaign source
  • Mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and similar interactions on the Site (see "Session recording" in Section 4)
  • Information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process orders and subscriptions, and charge your payment method
  • Ship your orders and send updates about them
  • Create and maintain your account, including your subscription management page

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with:

Service providers that run parts of our business on our behalf, including:

  • Shopify (online store, checkout, and payment processing)
  • Seal Subscriptions (subscription billing and management)
  • Our email and SMS marketing platform
  • Twilio (phone number verification)
  • Vercel and Supabase (website hosting and data storage)
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners

Advertising and analytics partners, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. These partners receive information about your activity on the Site. When you make a purchase, we may also send Meta your email address and phone number in hashed (scrambled) form so it can measure which ads led to the purchase and show relevant ads. Under some state laws, this counts as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.

Legal and safety purposes, where required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boost, our customers, or others.

Business transfers, if Boost is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies, Pixels, and Session Recording

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep your cart and account working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure and target our advertising.

Session recording. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site. Clarity records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movements, and creates heatmaps and session replays. Clarity's handling of this data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works, including your cart and account.

5. Text Messages (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from Boost, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and order-related texts at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time or HELP for help.

We do not share or sell your mobile phone number or text message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that deliver our messages.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for using these rights

How to opt out of targeted advertising: Email us at boost.gums@gmail.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as an opt-out request for that browser.

How to make other requests: Email us at boost.gums@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Marketing messages: Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email. Reply STOP to any text message.

California and Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others) may have the rights listed above. In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of information described in Section 1, for the purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in Section 3. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy, including to maintain your order and subscription history, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
